HG 1/144 GBN-Base Gundam (HGBD)

Well though that might be one interesting field of study to explore, but for now, let us talk about the new HGBD had in store for us.

Yes, that's really what this really is, its a GM/GM based granpa HGBD kit. Which is nifty since the HGBF GM/GM kit was an excellent piece of plastic that has always been made under the HG line of kits, So yep, it was dandy to finally get the HG gramps using the GM/GM base.

Seeing it that shiny, somewhat clear-ish parts kind of turn united states off. We thought to ourselves, why do Bandai think doing this kit like that kind of color scheme is a proficient idea? Nosotros would actually be fine if they just make all the parts in normal color scheme…instead of this.
We know that Bandai might have been making this kit based on how the kit was portrayed in the anime, but really ya'll tin can't deny that seeing it like this, kind of takes the charm of information technology all off. To put information technology simply, we actually retrieve that making this kit take that kind of color scheme, kind of made the kit await like shit.
The lamentable thing is, we LOVE the look of the Re-designed Gramps here. Looking at this we really can't believe Bandai still able to re-blueprint the grandfather to await even more badass than the Origins version. Damn, how do you guys notwithstanding manage to make us all crazy with the gramps?
Simply unfortunately, somehow rather they did manage to impale our excitement for this. With giving us that shiny shit on it.
Really great job Bandai.
Regardless of what we feel about the kit, we exercise think this kit falls into the 'maybe we become it' category kind of kit. Since we do love the overall look of the kit, just at the aforementioned time, we actually don't really like the color scheme that is used on the kit here.

Haropla Mobile HARO

Yes, we all realized that this is non gunpla but right after last weeks short review, nosotros are starting to retrieve that this might exist Bandai'due south new fad later the bearagguys. Really, right later on the Ball HARO short review, we kind of had long a discussion on where the next logical evolution of the Haroplas would be and lo behold, now we finally go to see where it is heading.

Yes, this. This is what the future of the HAROPLA's would be and the future seem to exist coming in this coming January!
Technically this is merely a HARO kit that has proper hands and legs. What's more now, like the ball Haro we tin can now mount weapons on it. No, no we are not looking at this having beautiful cannons attached at Haro's caput, this kit looks like that you tin properly attach proper weapons on information technology.
What kind of weapons y'all may ask? Well, you could mount the weapon packs from the HGBD line up, and looking at it nosotros wonder if it as well tin can mount the weapons from the HGBF line up too. This thought really excites us and we really tin can't expect to encounter if this, really would be a good improver to the Haropla family.
Oh yes, we are definitely be looking at of the possible Gundam anime spin-off here, the Mobile arrange HARO soon if this shit keeps up.
Regardless, nosotros tin't deny that nosotros are quite excited for the eventual release of this. With how awesome the Haroplas has been when information technology comes downwards in terms of how it feels to build and the kind of item that it has, honestly, nosotros are quite excited to see what do bandai has in shop for us with this particular Haropla kit.

Finally, we become to the final bit of this week's retail announcement.
And HO, HO, HO information technology looks like we are getting a new MG kit at the start of 2019, BOYS (and Girls) and what better kit to start the twelvemonth with the MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.)!
Though honestly? We weren't surprised to see this MS beingness made into an MG class, merely we are surprised that they decided to release this before the airing of the anime of the silvery screen. If its the star of the show, yeah it would make sense, but since this anime is named the Gundam Narrative, shouldn't the Narrative Gundam see the lite of day as an MG kit first before this?
And so once again, when we actually think almost information technology, they can simply reuse the mold from the MG Sinanju Stein with at the same time calculation some more parts taken from the original Sinanju. This isn't really 1 MG that is THAT hard to remake into. Plus since the Sinanju Stein is a pretty looking kit….information technology made sense to have this be fabricated into MG first.
And I take to say that I actually dig this version a lot compared to the original version. Even the 'Neo-Zeon' ornaments on the Stein look good here, plus nosotros exercise think that the white/grey color scheme really goes well with the whole kit. The Beam Rifle here looked like a combination in between the OG Sinanjus axle rifle and the HWS v Gundam's (and Sinanju Stein'southward) Axle Burglarize. Nosotros do honestly think that the Beam Rifle here looks even improve than its previous counterparts, heck we would fifty-fifty go as far to say that this looks even amend than both the OG Sinanju'due south beam rifle and HWS 5 Gundam (and once more Sinanju Stein's) axle rifle combined.
